RALEIGH—Winston-Salem City Council Member Dan Besse this week told a state panel on climate change that electric utilities should be required to increase their reliance on energy efficiency and clean energy resources.

RALEIGH—Winston-Salem City Council Member Dan Besse this week told a state panel on climate change that electric utilities should be required to increase their reliance on energy efficiency and clean energy resources.

 

"Energy efficiency and clean, renewable energy sources are the smart way to go," says Besse.  "We can cut air pollution, fight global warming, and save big money for consumers at the same time."
