The N.C. Federation of College Democrats has finalized its six dates and locations for the Democratic Lieutenant Governor debate series: Jan. 19 in Asheville, Jan. 24 in Fayetteville, Feb. 7 in Winston-Salem, Feb. 21 in Raleigh, Mar. 1 in Charlotte, and Mar. 20 in Wilmington.
Six debates, spread out over three months and across the state. I've agreed to participate in all six debates, as has Pat Smathers.
A letter to the editor now would be a good chance to let all the candidates know that you expect anyone you're voting for to not be afraid to meet the other candidates face-to-face in public, issue-oriented forums.
